Dr Noel Maturlu is a scholar of Positive Psychology and human flourishing, exploring these themes through the lens of Agapology (the study of divine love) and Spirituality (a personal and secure relationship with God). His interdisciplinary research focuses on the fundamental role of adversity in the relationship between spirituality, agape and flourishing (bliss). He holds an MSc in Psychology, an MSc in Health Research, a Master's in Systematic Theology and a Doctorate in Business Administration, and is a university lecturer in Psychology, Health Sciences and Business in the UK. A licensed minister, psychologist and psychotherapist, his work bridges psychology, theology and leadership development, with particular emphasis on the flourishing of Afro-descendant communities on the continent and across the diaspora.

Raziah Quallatein Mwawanga is Managing Editor of the Journal of Positive Psychology, Agapology and Spirituality and Director of Operations for LAB Press, carrying the submissions workflow, author correspondence and production of the journal alongside the institute's operations and community initiatives. She designed the cover of the seminal issue, The Agapology of LOVE, Adversity and Bliss.

Dr Philip Nukpe is an academic with over 34 years of experience in higher education in both UK and Ghanaian universities. He holds a Doctorate in Strategic Information Management following four postgraduate qualifications, has served as Head of Department and Senior Lecturer in several institutions, and is currently a Lecturer in Business and Entrepreneurship at Oxford Brookes University in affiliation with Global Banking School. His research sits at the intersection of educational technology, pedagogy and information systems design, emphasising the human dimension of motivation and accessibility. He developed and implemented the first MSc programme for the Department of Computer Science at the University of Ghana; his most cited works include “Motivation: Theory and Use in Higher Education.” He has delivered keynote addresses worldwide and served as reviewer and guest editor for several academic journals.
